The device features a combination of Aluminum & Plastic. The aluminum goes around the lid and at the sides of the laptop. The size specification is 18mm & whereas the device weighs around only 1.60 KG.   

  The Lenovo S340 has excellent work-precision. Surprisingly, the lid can be opened from one-hand and is not stiff to up-words. Despite its lower price, the bright side is its excellent built quality. Thanks to the aluminum frame, which gives more durability and the camera also has a shutter. Next is the laptop base, which is retained with a beautiful keyboard with a decent keys distance, and backlit. Also, the touchpad is very responsive.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S340 (14) has an FHD-TN screen. The diagonal screen-size is 14″ with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The pixel density is 157PPI, and their pitch is 0.161×0.161. Its TN (Twisted Nematic) panel technology sometimes gives lower viewing angles. Indeed, the S340’s display looks little blown-out from sides. It might look fade to many, especially for those with weaker eyesight.   

Although the Lenovo IdeaPad S340 is not a gaming laptop, it has a mid-range graphics card, which is rare to find within this budget. The device doesn’t disappoint when it comes to ports & connectivity. There is a power port, HDMI port, 3.5 Audio Jack, and a USB-C 3.1 on the left side. The right-side has a USB-A3.1 port and a Full-size card reader. The device has standard connectivity features, but RJ 45 Lan connector is missing, means you must stay mostly on WI-FI.
