The Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is truly a gorgeous piece of technology. The model comes in two hues: the phantom Black and Phantom Silver. However, the brand is also marketing three additional colour options i.e., Phantom Brown, Phantom Navy, and Phantom Titanium. Regardless of your colour choice, all the models come with the matte finish that offers a soft touch.

Like most modern Samsung smartphones, the S21 Ultra 5G comes with gloss-painted aluminium and Gorilla Glass Victus. We noticed during our Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G review that its back panel has shorter curves. It feels bulky and big with a weight around 0.5lbs (227g). Another significant change is the absence of 3.5mm jack.

There is nothing on the left side, while the right side features the power and volume buttons. On the top, there are two mics, whereas the bottom edge is a bit crowdy. It features one of the two speakers, the mouthpiece, the dual-SIM slot, and microphone. There is also a USB-C port, but Samsung is not offering the charger with the S21 Ultra 5G. So, you either must use an older charger or need to buy one separately.

Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G Display Review

Samsung mobile phones from the S-series are famed for their dazzling display. The newer Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G features a 6.8-inch large OLED display. At the top, there is a tiny punch-hole where Samsung has put its front camera.

This is a QHD screen with an edge-to-edge display which has a gentle curve. It is also the first model from Samsung smartphones to offer 120Hz refresh rate. We assessed a maximum brightness of 458 nits, whereas the S21 Ultra 5G can deliver a boosted screen brightness of 1023 nits.

In a nutshell, this is the ideal display to stream films and play games. You can watch seasons in 4K quality and play games at high settings with high refresh rates.

Camera Setup

We were truly amazed by the camera performance e of the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. It promises 100x zoom range with the quad-camera setup that astounds the user with their image quality. Its front camera is a 40MP lens (f/2.2) is ideal for taking selfies and shoot images with accurate skin tones and detailed colours under both dark and light conditions.

The rear camera setup is a quad-came with a 108MP main camera. This newer generation lens delivers sharp images with details even under low light. Its laser autofocus capability enables it to seize the moments at the right time with accurate colours.

Additionally, there are two 10MP (one 10x optical and one 3x optical telephoto) lenses. Samsung claims that together these two can provide a 100X zoom, but they fell short to our expectations. The 12MP ultra-wide sensor makes sure you get clear autofocus images.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra is a significant tool for vlogging fans. You can shoot 4K videos at 60fps from both front and rear cameras. Plus, the Director’s View mode help you record videos from the rear and front camera at the same time. This can help vloggers record reaction videos alongside the main footage. Amazing, isn’t it?

As highlighted, the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G come armed with the latest Android 11.0 OS. In addition, Samsung has loaded it with its own OneUI 3.0 interface for a better experience. The chipset selection on this Samsung flagship depends on your own choice. You can either get it with the Snapdragon 888 or with the Exynos 2100. Both are equally powerful processors, but the Exynos takes the lead in terms of higher clock speed.

Like all flagship Samsung mobile phones, the S21 Ultra 5G comes in more than one variant. The choice of RAM and storage quantity depends on your budget. Samsung is offering the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G with 12GB and 16GB RAM size. The storage size also varies from 128GB to 512GB, and you can also get it with 256GB storage.

The battery on this flagship Samsung Galaxy phone is 5000mAh. The battery selection matches with this Ultra model in terms of normal performance. At the default setting, the S21 Ultra 5G stay alive all day long. However, the battery life depleted quickly when we tested it with max brightness and high refresh rate.

Final Note

The Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is a premium choice for high-end users. Being one of the flagship Samsung smartphones, it offers a certain degree of quality. You will get the Android 11 OS, 4K display with a high refresh rate, and 5000mAh battery. In short, this is the ideal pick from Samsung mobile phones for both vloggers and game lovers.
